I visited two Cemetery`s today. I was at the VA Pine Bays Cemetery today to visit a few old friend`s and also travel to the The Florida National Cemetery to visit a few others and also my older brother there. They are the ones and others before them why there is a day like this. I did my 20yr in the military so I do live the dark days in my mind sometimes. So everyone have a great Memorial Day and be safe.

I will be getting ready for gastric bypass surgery on Tuesday, so no barbeque for me. Instead, this is the first step in getting down to a size where I can actually FIT in my SL, a Corvette, or other fun cars not designed for portly people. :cornut:

I also set aside time on Memorial Day to remember and honor fallen comrades. [US Army - 1970 - 1976]

I`ll keep you in my prayers for Tuesday for a successful surgery. I`m a pretty big guy myself... (6`4", 312 lbs). I had considered GP surgery, then I retired 3 months ago, and so far, I`ve lost 16 pounds! So I`m hoping I fit better in the Vette by next summer!!!
