IMO too much `90s stuff was far too whiney..."boo hoo I`m miserable so you should be too"...but there were still bright spots.

I know it`s lip synched - but this could be the best video ever.
The Damned ~ 1978 or so. Performed in England - but played on German TV. I`m guessing W. German TV

The Boston Symphony Orchestra Live Saturday night on WCRB Boston on the tunin app. Going to a live show there in 2 weeks with the wife.
This thread needs a revive......
I can spend hours upon hours of listening to music. Been listening tonight to 90`s music, which is what I more or less grew up on. Classic Rock from the 60`s, 70`s, and 80`s is some of my favorite music, but there`s certain songs that just draw an emotion, or just draw you back to a vivid memory of a part of your life.....what is it for you guys?
This is one of the songs that does it for me:

Houe of Wax- Mr. Jones is often what I work Finger Extension exercises to.
The songs that elicit significant emotion for *me* are generally the ones I heard while/immediately after somebody/something I cared about died, some of those have been downright freaky (E.g., Linkin Park`s In the End/BOC`s Don`t Fear the Reaper/etc.).
More positive note- Real Life`s Soundtrack sometimes provides some awfully cool coincidences for the high-points too, songs popped up with surprising regularity at the times of my greatest achievements.
Sorta....HMMMMM....how Real Life`s Soundtrack sometimes works out....REM`s Man on the Moon falls into both categories; heard it at some of the best/worst moments of my life. It`s gotten to where I *NEVER* play the most emotionally elicitive songs intentionally, preferring to see when Fate will present them to me again.
They aren`t to popular, but imo they should be.
