    Needing a new mirror....

Long story short, I had an incident with my driver`s side door mirror. Anyone wanna take a stab at what the dealer quoted me for a replacement?

Vital stats: power folding mirror, puddle lamp, auto-dimming, heated, turn signal, power adjustable with memory presets, chrome cap.

And for the bonus question - what did I just pay for a replacement?

Man I am worried about purchasing new products and now you bring up a spendy item such as described. I think my timber would be shivering mightily if it were me spending the money.

So my guess to what was described to be 600 dollars. Hopefully it is less!!!

    What happened????????

You left out one of the vital pieces of info. You didn`t mention what type of vehicle. I can guarantee you that the product you described to fit a Veyron is going to cost you more than what you`ll be paying for your mirror.

Just a guess but you probably got quoted roughly $450, and found a replacement on ebay or craigslist for around $200-250?

You PAID for a replacement? I could have driven down to Old San Anatone and picked one up a discount. Surely they have a few extras laying about. Heck Johnny Cash got his Cadillac that way, why not a Tundra. I`ll start with the rear views.

Dealer quote = 754.32 + tax (10% here). That`s just the part, no labor.

I paid = 250.00 + 18.00 shipping for one of an `08 Limited. Same OEM part.
