I recently on another site I went after (imagine that) a sponsor for what looked like a spamming. He was starting up to 7 plus threads at once, then pumping them with two to four word replies to keep them on the main page and bumping the other sponsors off.

This was a brand new sponsor to the site and I can see that he was over zealous but a tad to much for many of the forum members, who where complaining about his activities. All of his replies where directed at buying from his site.


I understand that sponsors pay to be on sites and generating sales is key to survival, but online abuse by a sponsor IMO only cheapens the quality of the forums.



With all that said I want to THANK all the sponsors and Troy for keeping this site about detailing and not JUST about the site sponsors products.

I also want to thank the members & mods here for watching out for spammers.

Its a nightmare on some forum based site, they know that there is a number of people login in daily, just like here. Some of them allow sponsor to run a muck on the sites with thread after thread pimping their lines. At one point it becomes impossible to get any good info.

This site is a far cry from that and the reason I started this thread!
