    Hyundia Sonata

Recently saw one of these at my gym, and was really impressed with the style of the car...

Looking at the trim packages they come well outfitted for the mid 20`s

Honestly never gave them much thought as a car I would want but this one looks pretty darn cool to me.

they are disposable cars as far as I`m concerned. I`ve never heard someone say, " I`m looking for a used Hyundai."

Yes! They are nice cars. You cant beat the warrenty 5years 60,000 miles bumper to bumper and 10 year 100,000 power train.

oh I`m sure that there are plenty for sale and they are made in Korea btw ....but who is going to head out of their house looking for a used car with a Hyundai in mind

as Larry said, you buy it, it comes with an awesome warranty but in the end the resale will be as bad as a Dodge

Beemer - Like this - My wife picked it up in July - it is the 4 cyl limited editon and gets around 34 mpg on the highway and 26 around town. so far 10,000 miles and no problems.

I have no doubt that the resell value will be bad when we are ready to get rid of it.

We have had a few of the new body style at the lot here and they have all been terdbuckets. Hyundai still can`t get those lifter tap problems addressed. I`ve seen it on the 4 and 6 cylinder motors. My recommendation don`t be fooled by the cars nice looks.

Well you may not get $$$ for it when you`re done using it, but it looks nice.

Well if I can keep it running for 200K like my car, then I can say I got my money out of it.

Steve...what I don`t get is why you don`t think this could be a 200K car...The American Motors companies...laughed at the Japanese at one point...today they are kicking the Americans to the curb for dependability, sales and quality....They have the technology to build a good looking car...a warranty that is excellent...so they must be very confident that they have a good product...and bang for the buck they are looking pretty IMO

I think its one to watch

    Re: Hyundia Sonata

I should also add that not many American cars are clipping 200K these days that don`t have major issues getting there, and the resell value of those cars is even worse than the Asians
