Wow that is cool. Not for low to the ground cars though. I wonder how they do in a crash?
i don`t know, but it would certainly need reinforcement to be able to suck that huge door down
interesting...how did you come about this?
I would imagine you would be limited as to the type of car and the type of ground you are parked on. The weight increase must be alot.
I like beer. On occasion I will even drink a beer to celebrate a major event such as the fall of communism or the fact that our refrigerator is still working.

Interesting to say the least but how would you go about cleaning it? the door would have to be closed / up so you would have to work inside the car. Other than everyone being able to get out at once I don`t see the benefit in it

I think it is a very cool idea but its application really is limited to parking lots that are covered. I know that if the whole side of a car opened in Fairbanks when it is 50 below zero everyone of the occupatants of the vehicle would get cold really quick. I can see wind being a problem for the inside of the vehicle. Also rain from the roof would keep the floor wet.
Don`t get me wrong....I like the idea and if I were a wealthy man I would be on it in a heart beat. I would love to be the first one on my block to have one.
Interesting gimmick, but it is a gimmick.
Kind of like the Lambo doors that were being installed a while back.
My friend at the body shop loved them.
He got lots of money for converting them back to original.

You are absolutely correct. I think it would look nice on my Silverado. Good thing I am not rich since I would be employing Charles W friend to take my Lambo doors off to be replaced by these doors.
That`s pretty cool! What will they think of next.
I want a rear door like that on my Jeep. Might be hard with the spare tire, but hey, it`s my dream.

I bet they don`t roll to well after a side impact.
How well will that roller track work after it is full of dirt and sand that will accumulate in them.
I`m with Charles on this one nothing more than a gimmick for those who have to have something that everyone else don`t have.
I find it interesting that they only show it on a Lincoln. I wonder if they managed to get it done with other vehicles.
Looks cool for a show car but, really don`t see practical everyday use.
