Cliff notes! Your showing your age, do they even make those anymore? I `somewhat` remember using them in the 70`s in high school and college.

A friend of ours used to own a gas station up in Blaine Washington and he said he was approached by Starbucks when they were just starting out. He told them to take a hike because he thought the very same things you just said. Nobodies gonna spend that much on any coffee especially coffee that tastes like theirs did.

I don`t like coffee period so I don`t know what theirs tastes like but judging by what I have heard I won`t be trying some anytime soon.

Just goes to show perseverance pays off and apparently so does bad coffee.

I don`t really like the coffee very much unless it`s masked by a bunch of flavors. But every starbucks I have ever been to has Tables, chairs and free water. Even the free standing outside starbucks have those.
