That looks like some pretty sound advice Troy. My roster was already set up, but I just wanted to see what Yahoo would recommend. It turns out that they wouldn`t change a thing about my current set up.
Just remember that you don`t want to be only looking at the skill of your player. You need to look at what defense he`ll be going against that week. Personally, I would want my superstars in there almost every game, but if it comes down to chosing between two solid/average players, the one playing against the less experienced defense will most likely get the nod.

There are several websites out there that offer lineup and player advice/informatio. ESPN, Rotoworld, CBS Sportsline, Fox Sports, etc. all have pretty sizeable pools of information.

Have you had a chance to look up at the matchup feature on the site Troy? You might be interested in looking at our matchup on week 1. Your projected points are 130.6 and mine are 130.91. This should be a great match up if the predictions are correct.

I think they are under rating Drew Brees though. You watch, Peyton and Drew will have very similar games.
I`ve already talked to Drew about not throwing touchdowns to Colston this week.
And I just got off the phone with Dwight about taking Drew out of the game. Don`t worry, it won`t be anything too serious.

That is a nice thought for you guys to take out each others teams...makes it easier for the rest of us

Troy, did you notice that in your scoring sytem, there were 19 players, all quaterbacks that scored higher than the Tomlinson? Where did you get this scoring system and roster requirements? Was it a league you played before?

It`s the only way I have played.
This year they made one change to the other league I play in which I thought was a good idea. In that league we start both the starting QB and their back-up. That way your week doesn`t get ruined if your QB gets injured.
Scott it sounds like you have more fantasy football experience than I do. Next year if you want to take charge of our league, I am all for it.
I think having Eli in there every week would hurt you more than help you Troy.

I don`t know if this makes sense but I have 3 QBs on my rooster just in case 1 gets hurt.
Does that sound logical?
It doesn`t hurt to have the extra QB Jay. I just have two, and the other one is only there for Manning`s bye week. But I did choose a solid QB as the backup in case Manning does get hurt.

I forgot that I added Quinn. I had to get some former Irish players on my team.

I think I`m confusing you guys. The other league I am in has 2 active QB slots but one is for the starting QB and the other is for that QB`s back-up.
Example-
QB slot 1 - Drew Brees
QB slot 2 - Jamie Martin
New Orleans starting QB and his back up.
I see. I thought you were talking about the 2nd QB you drafted would be the back-up. That is a pretty good idea.
