O.K. Now I`m Tired

Spent the past two days laying 14,000 square feet of sod. Sorry no pics. It`s taken me a year to get the lot ready. I put a small (3 ft. X 120 ft.) terraced wall in the back yard. I know this doesn`t sound like much to you young, strong men but for this old guy with a titanium spine it was quite the project. Cars have really been on the back burner lately. I`m going to crawl into a hole and die now.

That sounds like a lot of work, but I`m more interested in hearing about the titanium spine. How much of your back is metal?

I`m dead tired too, got up at 6AM, got home from work at 7PM...now going to bed at 8.35PM...I`m getting old .

I have 4 vertebrae fused and two pretty long rods. The scar on my back is about 14". It`s pretty cool to look at on an X-Ray. The screws are very long (maybe 3" or so). That`s the only part of it that`s cool. Can`t play golf anymore. Can`t twist.

That`s my problem now I`m all gone. There`s nothing left. I`ve got some nice curbed, washed gravel gardens but not a plant in sight. I`m thinking of hanging it up for this year. Some might call it zero scaping but I know it`s just zero effort.
