Is it worth Rating a thread.. i recently rated a thread by Don...how to replace the bearings on your PC ..I rated the thread excellent is the rating visible to others?

I am not sure if it is visible but I certainly thought that it was a good thread and said so thru reutation points. this is a good questionand will rate this thread as such.

ratings do show up.
I don`t think that many people use the function, but it does work

I also hit him with a rep point and rated the thread..It would make a good sticky..i`m not sure how the forum determines this..
