Finally Putting the Steamer to Auto Use

I don`t use my Dupray for autos.....
I use it for tile cleaning and wood floor cleaning for the most part. It is ahhhhmazing for wood floor cleaning.

My interiors are always clean in the cars.
I`ve yet to find a thing I like using it on Auto...

Anyhow, fast forward today. I wanted to change the the tint on my doors to a different %.
Doors are fully leather so I wanted extra care/precaution to the the leather by the window (aka, water stains, etc)
So I decided to try to remove the tint myself.
It went real well, too easy. The only hard part for me was juggling steam want, right hand, left hand pulling tint *having the door car taped and plastic wrapped up protected*, while juggling with a small towel under the steamer head to catch all the water drips from the nozzle/film/glass as I removed the tint.

Ha. Giving myself a pat on the back

I`ve seen my tint guy removing film using a streamer. It definitely makes it go fast!

    Captain Obvious question:
Can steamers be used to help remove bumper stickers OR is a heat gun, adhesive remover, scraper, and finger pulling patience the way to remove them?

@Lonnie - I dont have a steamer but recently had to remove a sticker and I used a plastic razor blade and wax/tar remover, seemed to work ok.
