    Small project...

Got tired of looking at the white underbelly of our Sunpass/toll transponder. Taped up the numbers we need to reload it, took off the suction cups and painted these suckers flat black!
They blend in a lot better now and do not stick out like a sore thumb anymore!

Scott - I hope that you and yours have been safe from this thing out there..

Great job on the "Details" ! It looks so much better and blends in perfectly..

Is there a reason this long rectangle cannot be mounted up there horizontally, instead of vertically? It would definitely make it less noticeable if it was mounted the other way, no ?

Love all your work and posts ! Thank you for all of this hard work you do for us !

Very nicely done...I refuse to velcro mine to the windshield...I just hold it up as I go past. I think PA already passed the law (or are going to) that it must be affixed to the windshield. If that does happen, or if I do need to do that, I`m going to steal your idea!

^^^Right on! Just read somewhere that PA states that you can not modify it in any way--so one guy is going to say it is lost and pay for a new one when he needs to return it/etc!

    Some crazy stuff!

Yeah, it is part of life for some of us.. I will Never Velcro anything to my vehicle period..

I have had a Valentine 1 in my vehicles for 18 years.. They still use the awesome original clear suction cups that absolutely hold it in place forever.. And no harm to the windshields either.. They look like they are made of some type of soft silicone material..
They have taken extreme heat from the sun, gone on over tens of thousands of miles of trips to Texas and back, and never failed me once..

I had the same cups on my escort for years, finally the Florida son got to them after a decade and I have never been able to find a replacement as good.

I have not met you before, so welcome to the Forum !

Sorry to hear about the suction cups on your Escort - did you contact Escort to see if they can just sell you the cups?
    Good luck with this..
