MD you are spot on about the plants catching up. The ground is not warm enough for me to plant yet. The weather in Virginia is crazy we had 4 days of low 80’s. This week it’s getting down in the 30’s for a couple nights I’ve planted too early before, had to replant the tomatoes and cucumbers That was a PITA. That WILL NOT happen again. Do any of you have problems with pests? I have squash bugs on the squash, stink bugs and Japanese beetles on the cucs jap beetles eat the okra leaves but not the pods my chickens love jap beetles. I pick them off and they chow down I’m happy for you guys that can plant early there’s nothing like the taste of homegrown veggies
