Photos Missing

I`m seeing a lot of older threads were the photos aren`t visible.

Is it a site issue? Something going on w my computer?

no,it`s not you. photobucket began charging for their free photo sharing program and a lot of us couldn`t afford it.

many older threads had photobucket hosted pictures .. when they decided to charge for the hosting many people did not pay and those pictures can no longer be seen

mostly in my computer and phone and put them up as needed .. I`m sure the technical people will have some cloud answer for you ... it just mocks me

The most reliable way is to upload them to the Autopia gallery, although with all of the changes over the years I`m not sure how foolproof that is. I don`t seem to have any older than 2011, so there might be 5 years or more of mine that got lost in forum transitions. Most people like to use 3rd party photo hosting because they post their threads on multiple forums...but that 3rd party hosting has caused a lot of busted threads over the years.

There`s an extension in Firefox that enables you to see the Photobucket pictures. Not sure what it`s called since I`m away from my computer.

As far as 3rd party hosting sites, I use imgur. They have a simple to use smart phone app. It`s also a good time waster to go through the front page if you`re bored.

Thanks so much for the tips about a extension! Installed "Photobucket Fixer" extension in Firefox and it works.

It works on Chrome! I`m a happy camper now. I can see my beautiful pics once again. Oh, my beautiful pics. All my threads can be viewed again. Yay.
