    Post New years eve...

Here is wishing everyone a safe and happy one! Hope 2018 brings good things. My 2017 was not too bad overall. Plans tonight are a Pizza Hut big box dinner in. Safest place to be with this weather! Watch the ball drop and call it good.

    What are your plans?

Working all night all week... Mandatory. Time and half though, and our lunchroom is a restaurant style, where we will get a free steak & shrimp dinner tonight , free chicken tomorrow night

Not many places to celebrate where I live and will do the usual and stay home where it is warm. Today`s high will be a balmy -13F and will head towards -20F tonight so with the furnace working overtime I will keep it company and stay warm and will either sip on a good whiskey or have a Brandy/Pepsi mix provided I am still awake at Midnight.

    Happy New Year to all!
    Dean.

Funny how that begins to be a questionable task as the years roll by.

Heh heh, sounds like there were some early evenings! We got to bed at 0328, a little early for us on NYEve.

We had a beef dish too! Slow-cooked roast.

    Re: New years eve...

Some family members and I was just haveing dinner plans. A good friend stopped by and I invited her for the dinner. She stayed a while and then she drove to visit her father and grandparents. For dinner I made fillet of pork marinated and wraped with bacon and cooked in the stow. Thyme spiced fried potatoes and bearnaise sauce to that. After dinner we just was talking till the clock was going to the new year. Then we got out and looked at all the fireworks people was shooting of. Then we called it good night after that.

The one thing I take with from this year is I took up my hobby on detailing cars again. Have been out of it for many years. On the personal front has been a disaster for me with alot of crap happens this year. And also to my family too.

So know I`m looking forward to this new year with positive thoughts for me and my family and friends. Wish all of the autopians members all good things to happens for you.

    Happy New Year everyone!
    Regards
    Tony
