    Headlight question

So I drive a 14 Accord. For the past 3 years, I’d run a combo of Opt7 LED and Innovited HID bulbs. Cutoff isn’t perfect, but it’s not bad and gives far better light output than the stock halogens. Well, the aftermarket bulbs have crapped out, yet again. Longevity with these is terrible. That’s why I’ve gone back and forth between the opt7 and Innovited. 3 years, 3 total sets.

Low beams crapped out earlier this week, so I put the stock H11’s back in. Good god these things are terrifying! How is anyone supposed to drive in these things? I feel like I’m over driving them at 45mph- no distance at all. And if I’m not climbing a hill, it seems like all foreground lighting, especially going downhill.

So, what to do now? Obviously ai could get another set of Innovited- they’re not expensive and available easy on Amazon. But I’m discouraged with the lack of longevity- just seems like a poor use of money. Opt7’s don’t give as good of light, and not much better longevity and cost more. I don’t feel great about either.

Obviously, there’s OEM HID bulbs like morimoto, etc. Those are expensive, and here’s the rub- I’ve got new car fever. A v6 sedan with leather and nav, and stock LED/HID headlights. Probably gonna be summer before I can make that happen-not quite paid off and I’m a buy at end of model year kind of guy. Not even a sure thing I’ll do it.

Either way, I can’t deal with stock headlights and the two options I know don’t inspire much confidence and I don’t wanna spend for OEM quality HID’s. Anyone have any suggestions?

Try Headlight Experts that`s where I`m going to be ordering my next set of lights when I get a few extra bucks. I believe they also have a lifetime warranty.

Is there a fog light option for your car? Sounds crazy, but they help with regular conditions more-so than fog. The standard halogen lights in my GTI are terrible, but I have LED "fog lights." They light up everything alot better. My solution for the S10 wouldn`t look too good on your Accord though, lol.

I have fogs, was running HID’s in there too, which helped but they also crapped out yesterday.

    Re: Headlight question

I ordered morimoto xb’s from retrofit source earlier today. For what I’ve spent on cheap sets, I could’ve had those the whole time. I’m kicking myself on that.
