sorry, I can`t seem to upright this pic of Ron at Moffitt cancer center. I was able to meet up with Ron today at 0515 hrs for his pre op check in, along with Ron`s son Stephen and Butch, an old friend of Ron`s from his emt/medic days in CT. Ron was wheeled into surgery around 0730 this morning and the surgery went well. the mass appeared to be very fibrous and there is a chance it may not be tumorous, but that diagnosis will have to wait for when the final pathology comes in. after some time in recovery, Ron was taken to a short term icu where we finally caught up with him at 1400 hrs. he looks good and is not in any pain, but is ready to go home. if everything goes ok tonight, he`ll be released tomorrow sometime. of course, therapy, more mri`s , and doctor visits are in his future. thank you to everyone for your prayer support, I know it means a lot to Ron.

So...maybe it was just a microfiber towel that got misplaced?
Seriously, glad everything went well, Ron.

Had this conversation with Ron pre-surgery. I’m sure once they got thru that thick skull there was lots of room to work. Yeah, I’m kiddin’ Ron, we love you kid.

With all the detailing he`s done over the years, I think it`s entirely possible! A deep inhale before a big sneeze, and suddenly there`s a towel missing.
Seriously though, hang tough Ron! We`re praying for you and glad to hear you sailed through this procedure with no issues. Take things one beautiful day at a time!
