While I always knee-jerk to a LEO-sympathetic perspective, I do understand why you`d feel that way if/when you`re Agitating in direct physical proximity to LE. Though *every* LEO I`ve ever actually known has been conscientious about never trampling anybody`s rights, including protesters, even those with whom they disagree.

Re: To Our LEO`s & First Responders

Two weekends ago had rough situation. Our LE were safe and well trained to respond. But I only had one viable patient when we got there and if the perp hadn`t have killed himself in front of Le we couldn`t have gotten to the scene as quickly. I watched from the street and ` a warm zone I felt well covered in` and Le asked why we took so long to get there
questioning the only person on the scene questioning where the 2nd, 3rd or even more shooters.. could be, and feelin responsible for each life starting with mine and my partners

enough said. Ron is right. Too many of our emergency responder brother and sisters die each year from this.
    Thank you Ron for caring

Eh, nuts at both ends of the spectrum. Presumably more fun than conducting a normal life, for a certain type of person at least.

    Frightening IMHO

As well as the are being "main streamed" and "normalized" by media instead of showing what they really are.

Eh, anybody calling for Revolution/Armed Insurrection is in the same category for me...right/left...anybody. Nuts With [Weapons] are worrisome to the extent they are regardless of their ideology.

I do agree about the mainstreaming of SO much [crap] these days...but folks`ve been saying for a few millennia and I dunno if the Left gets more of a pass than the Right or not, everybody seems to think their side gets the short end of the stick.

The press has shown how some really are and their supporters do not care. As ab example, Trump`s personal behavior should be not be "mainstreamed" or "normalized" for those really interested in the truth!

Re: To Our LEO`s & First Responders

This might be an OK thread for something I`ve been wondering about:

How do our resident LEOs feel about Open Carry? Not talking a single-action revolver in a holster in rural AZ, but rather, say...long guns at these Protests/political gatherings.

IMO, an AK in the trunk = sensible enough preparation for contingencies, whereas an AK on your shoulder in the town square = bad news eagerly waiting to happen.
