    gonna be a long weekend

fun times... it just looked so innocent

They just always seem to find me...more problems

I hope you`ve got your coffee....

iron removal and wheel face scrub two times, probably needed a third but it was already dark

pissa cake eh? (italian accent imagined)

enter trumpets and orchestras and stuff

    little blue bottle of magic

They just always seem to find me, more problems

    Now maybe a donut too...

guess who may end up adding ppf removal to their skill set soon?

this is just not gonna be ok..no way...cant ruin my shine..nope

within 2 hours of delivery i was already +1 day of work , lol
    Saturday reveal-not a chance

Re: gonna be a long weekend

nano isnt really helping here but lathering the a&m hd on the cut up rupes green pad that shred itself to pasture (glad i kept all of them now!!)
decided to swap that beer with red bull, lol...it was tempting tho

quadrant 1 almost finished, whew...gonna be here a while

im gonna see if i can cut a 6inch one up with my fabric scissors and fit it to the nano and see if that helps

nano w blue pad doesnt work as well as the green larger rupes (thicker) pad by hand but this is a lot of extra work

and the other front wheel is Much worse!! i wanted to try and get these done tonitr so i can do a third iron removal wash tomorroe as tjere is still pitting areas i can see i know would bleed...these wheels bled a lot even on the 2nd iron removal wash and scrub

and not to mention the barrels are horrid...didnt really want to scrub up with iron remover and my speedmasters and hard to even get in there

the lug cap covers, are needing qtip polishing...i dont think ive seen a car with wheels this bad besides that ford truck a few years ago i ised a&m hd on as well but these wheels are more difficult to get polished up

and i still have to get in a few test spots before tomorrow morning on the paint and ppf part of hood, which seriously, that cut on the front of the hood..it needs to go

not even a clue what to charge for that

the wheel work alone is hard for me to quote...i dont have a "intricately polish your wheel faces with up to qtips" package...guess I do now

Re: gonna be a long weekend

took a break and played with the paint which bears an uncanny resemblance to some black car you might have seen before

this was a no brainer in my head

enter tlc, urofiber and then pa final finish and rupes yellow
same exact recepie for my car, and the hellcat I did earlier this week

    thats it for 2nite
probably sleep in tomorrow since this is now a weekend job

Damn bud! You definitely have your work cut out. As for the stains on the wheels did you try a dedicated wheel cleaner other than an iron remover? Reason I ask is more than once I have found a dedicated wheel cleaner such as Mckees foaming wheel cleaner gel to remove stains etc that an iron remover won`t. I even keep Meguiars wheel brightner on deck mixed 50/50 for cases like this. More often then not it works.

Brandt, those wheels, holy crap. How long did you spend on the wheels to get the stains out? I agree about a dedicate wheel cleaner, my go to is Sonax wheel cleaner total effect. Looking forward to the delivery photo`s, good luck today sir.

    512Detail- Sheesh, what a job!

So the PB Metal Polish won`t mess up the oe finish on the wheels? I gotta be a bit careful with the ones on my Audis, even think twice about M101.

I`ve seen zero issues. I got the ok from the owner first. she said they were already looking at new wheels

I`ve saved her so much money so far!

she`s only had this car a week and called me once she got it home from the dealer

Ah, OK. Yeah, smart of her to get it to you right away. Wonder what wheels she`ll get...I`d go nuts dealing with the ones on it now.
