Seems like you two aren`t the only ones who couldn`t find it......

Do you have a reference for that? The 2016 report had a total of 224K persons in 135K households. So 108K seems really high, especially when a total of 1.3 per 1000 were victims of any violent crime. Also, there is nothing in the report about gun use to prevent crime.

    Private Firearms
Stop Crime 2.5 Million Times Each Year

Private Guns Stop Crime 2.5M Times A Year In US

The numbers speak louder than anti-rights rhetoric: more guns, less crime.

    https://pjmedia.com/blog/fbi-crime-s...afer-public/1/

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fact: Guns prevent an estimated 2.5 million crimes a year or 6,849 every day. 8 Most often, the gun is never fired and no blood (including the criminal’s) is shed.
Fact: Property crime rates are dropping (especially burglaries). The chart shows the legal handgun supply in America (mainly in civilian hands) relative to the property crime rate. 9
Fact: Every year 400,000 life-threatening violent crimes are prevented using firearms.
Fact: 60% of convicted felons admitted that they avoided committing crimes when they knew the victim was armed. 40% of convicted felons admitted that they avoided committing crimes when they thought the victim might be armed. 10
Fact: Felons report that they avoid entering houses where people are at home because they fear being shot. 11
Fact: 59% of the burglaries in Britain, which has tough gun control laws, are “hot burglaries” 12 which are burglaries committed while the home is occupied by the owner/renter. By contrast, the U.S., with more lenient gun control laws, has a “hot burglary” rate of only 13%. 13
Fact: Washington DC has essentially banned gun ownership since 1976 14 and has a murder rate of 56.9 per 100,000. Across the river in Arlington, Virginia, gun ownership is less restricted. There, the murder rate is just 1.6 per 100,000, less than three percent of the Washington, DC rate. 15
Fact: 26% of all retail businesses report keeping a gun on the premises for crime control. 16
Fact: In 1982, Kennesaw, GA passed a law requiring heads of households to keep at least one firearm in the house. The residential burglary rate dropped 89% the following year. 17
Fact: A survey of felons revealed the following: 18
74% of felons agreed that, “One reason burglars avoid houses when people are at home is that they fear being shot during the crime.”
57% of felons polled agreed, “Criminals are more worried about meeting an armed victim than they are about running into the police.”

The young kids in high school, marching and holding town halls, want to eradicate the 2nd Amendment. To them and many others it is old, archaic and not meant for modern times. What they are too ignorant to grasp is that the First and Second Amendments go hand in hand. If we remove the 2A how then can we protect the First?

Hillary is a liar. Full blown in your face lying snake. Trump is, I am sure, just as full of it but in Hillary`s case, that women boils my blood. Her troop of faithful butt kissers are liars also. Huma Abedin and Susan Rice are just as corrupt and it would make me jump for joy seeing them all doing a perp walk in cuffs! BUT sadly that will NEVER happen because they are too big to go down. If Trump is guilty of anything criminal then get his butt tossed out also.

I completely agree. Hillary is bad for America. Not only because she`s a liar, but because she`s a woman.

Sure, Trump may have made thousands of false and misleading claims over the past year but at least he ain`t a lady.

Gun Facts | Gun Control and Crime
    that has been thoroughly discredited
    only 5000 samples

A 1997 National Institute of Justice publication[22] demonstrated that it is virtually impossible to reconcile Kleck`s estimates and Kleck-like estimates to the amount of crime that actually occurs in the United States. Kleck, however, counter-argued that this conclusion was the product of logical errors and a mistake by the authors in which they made an inappropriate apples and oranges comparison.[23]

that would imply an adult would pull a gun once every 10 years
if every adult owned a gun
since the report the avg adult would have pulled 2.5 times
only 30% of households own guns
that would raise the number of pulls to 8 plus in 25 years

    the number is ridiculous

one item was used (page met a russian agent in europe)
corroborated by 4 sources (all redacted, likely our guys and allied intell)

it was also stated that is was politically motivated to discredit candidate 1 (trump)

    read the dem response
they were watching page well before the dossier and considered him `acting as a foreign agent`

reality is not 2.5 mil gun saving lives a year
is that not the most likely use?
so even if only 10% were prevented murders that is 250.000
that is 15 times the actual no. of murders

    defies logic and fact
