Remember this...
That was your first contribution to this thread after the Parkland Florida school shooting.
First of all, after re-reading a few of ArtM3 posts I feel like I just woke up out of a coma and a liberal conspiracy theorist has to fill me in on what has happened the past two years without being able to use full sentences.
That said...
Ronkh...Rather than name calling, you spend your time finding unverified & politically charged fake news stories that confirm your biases and prejudices. Truth is, you`d much rather have a debate on the shooters political affiliation than a meaningful policy discussion about gun control.

Sadly having read the last post it appears that it is believed that what happened in Florida is Trump’s fault. I’m no fan of his. That said, he may have inherited the problem and it remains to be seen, what if anything he’ll do about it but he did not cause this problem anymore than you the posters or any other poster in this thread. Adding his list of issues or any other president’s for this matter won’t fix what is going on in this nation with respect to shootings.
@artm3, you take a very wide sweep when you say “you guys have sold your souls and my country”. Which guys? Do you really know the people of whom you write beyond a few posts on a forum? There is no sense making an assumption that broad and don’t make this thread personal. You don’t need to like what someone else says and you certainly don’t need to agree with it but keep the discussion civil. -GH
A society willing to trade liberty for temporary security deserves neither and will lose both

you may be a citizen but do not sound like an American
who can say if it made a difference?
the russians obviously thought it would, and they are experts at it
why do it then?

did the russian campaign have an effect?
Pompeo made a similar remark last October, saying at a conference in Washington, "The intelligence community`s assessment is that the Russian meddling that took place did not affect the outcome of the election."The CIA later issued a statement appearing to walk back his remarks.
"The intelligence assessment with regard to Russian election meddling has not changed," an agency spokesman told The Washington Post at the time, adding, "the director did not intend to suggest that it had."The U.S. intelligence community has not reached a conclusion on whether Russian meddling actually had any bearing on the election`s outcome."We did not make an assessment of the impact that Russia activities had on the outcome of the 2016 election," an unclassified assessment released last January states. "The US Intelligence Community is charged with monitoring and assessing the intentions, capabilities, and actions of foreign actors; it does not analyze US political processes or US public opinion."

The internet was flooded with rumors and hoaxes in the aftermath of the Parkland, Florida shooting as internet trolls and Russian bots started to push out a false narrative about the suspect’s identity. They fallaciously claimed that he was a member of Antifa, that he was a “Dreamer,” that he had affiliations with ISIS, and, as mentioned, that he was a registered Democrat:

I own firearms, and have done so since I was a child. Bought my first .22 LR, with the help of a wise father at eleven years of age, it was a Sears Ted Williams pump action. I was taught from a very early age how to safely handle and discharge a gun. I see the term gun control thrown around frequently. I recoil every time I hear it because I’m not really sure I know what it is people are thinking. Gun Control means so many things to so many different people, there are extremes on both ends of what gun control means to various groups.
I’m all for background checks and have been through many. The government has anything that they could possibly want regarding my personal information. The FBI has performed intensive background checks on me, my fingerprints are on file. They have personal letters stating my purpose for ownership signed with a local Police Chiefs approval, meaning there was a personal interview with these law enforcement officials. They have my name, my address, my social security number, my passport number. They know how much I make, how much I pay in taxes. They know my parents names, my children’s names, my spouse. They know which firearms I own. Some of these firearms took between 3 and 6 months to obtain permission to own, I’m patient. I don’t take these things to be a burden it’s all part of lawful ownership. I’ve taken the appropriate courses and tests to qualify for a CCP. I’ve qualified at high levels shooting IDPA. Seriously, I don’t know what more info I could give them.
I’ve seen comments on the forum regarding not being able to trust other gun owners. I know the people with which I have shooting connections. I trust them, I trust them implicitly, many of these people are not Ex-Vets, I still trust them and they trust me. Though forum members don’t know me I’ll bet should we have had the opportunity, they too would trust me, perhaps even like me. I own firearms of which the anti-gun crowd would not approve. These firearms are of no concern or consequence to anyone and would never be used to harm anyone or anything beyond a standard paper target. They were all acquired legally. They are properly stored and my family has been trained on how to handle firearms.
I AM NOT THE PROBLEM, my guns are not the problem and when it comes to gun ownership there are tens of millions of people just like me. Don’t give me this garbage about assault weapons and which guns I can own. Any weapon and I mean any weapon, (think screwdriver) used to assault someone is an assault weapon. I’ve stated my opinion before, I don’t believe we need more regulation when it comes to gun ownership. The mentality that puts more restrictions on me frustrates me a great deal. A gun is a tool end of story. It allows me to punch holes in targets several hundred yards away. I like shooting them, I like collecting them, I like cleaning them, I like reloading ammunition for them. Just like we like detailing cars, it’s a hobby. We have enough regulation and had enough laws on the books to likely have stopped this most recent shooting had we enforced these laws. Don’t tell me that gun’s are the cause of the crisis we have in the country right now, I simply don’t believe it.
