the fact that you and I share no common thought process brings me much comfort
that mindset is not as rare among trump supporters as you would like to believe

Which mindset is that? The sentence structure in the above quote would lead one to understand that mindset of Trump supporters would be they are comforted by the fact that they share no common thought process with the poster.

Paraphrasing here:
Isn’t it ironic that all of the people who are pro-abortion are already born? Makes me wonder if this question ever occurs to them, “what if my parents believed in abortion?”.
???
if aborted how would they know or care?
what if mankind did not believe in war?
I don`t think they consider it pro-abortion
pro-choice
a man who knocks the woman up then tells her how to live with it
yep, cons like telling others how to live
kill a hundred thousand women, elderly and kids in iraq, cool, but a womans choice is a sin
pompous holier than thou

In 480 BC, the Persian king Xerxes demanded that the Spartans give up their weapons. King Leonidas responded with the phrase ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ (molon labe) which meant "Come and take them." This led to the Battle of Thermopylae, in which a small group of Greek warriors held off a far superior group of Persians for three days.
Similarly, in 1831, the Mexican army gave a small piece of field artillery to settlers in Gonzales, Texas, to help them fend off Indian attacks. At the onset of the Texas Revolution, the Mexican army asked for the cannon back. In response, the settlers raised a homemade flag with an image of the weapon and the words "Come and Take It" emblazoned across it.
The twin phrases "ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ/molon labe" and "Come and Take It" have become synonymous with the promotion of the Second Amendment and other fundamental liberties. They are antithetical to the idea of unilateral disarmament.
Today, snowflakes across the country walked out of class to protest "gun violence" and demand new confiscatory gun laws. The poorly informed young woman in the photo was part of today`s Tide Pod Walkout. Note the slogan (and date) on her shirt, and the protest sign in her hands.
Seriously--this is the most ironic photo I`ve seen in a long time.

Isn`t it ironic that this country has two groups that that feel it`s so important to pass laws they feel (and probably rightly so - eh, to a point/on the surface) will save lives. But, they both hate each other for it.
Both groups are so much alike and so blind to seeing it.

No, the dems want to disarm the American people, have open borders and make us a 3rd world country. (socialism, communism, anti business, high percentage of people not working, healthcare designed to harm the economy and the deficit, IRS used to attack concervitaves, spying, police state, ect ect ect)
The republicans are fighting to keep the soventry of our country.

useful idiot is a derogatory term for a person perceived as a propagandist for a cause the goals of which they are not fully aware, and who is used cynically by the leaders of the cause.

[1] The term has often been attributed to
Vladimir Lenin, but this attribution is controversial.

Did you even try to comprehend what I wrote?
I didn`t think so.
And most of what you wrote here, not even close to being accurate. I could go point by point and explain why. But, I think you`ve shown that would be a waste of my time.

Same for me (Well, I don`t think I`d use the word enthusiastically. I just believe it`s a good idea.). What`s your point?

Ya, you think I’m the same as the Antifa people just on the other spectrum. I’m not. We’re not. And everything I said is 100% accurate.

No, I don`t think you`re the same. You`re reading things into my words that aren`t there.
I think people on the right have commonalities with people on the left. I think they don`t see it because they are only seeing sides to an issue. They don`t see how similar they are in their thought process, their wanting to be part of a group, their methods of obtaining information, their inability/unwillingness to try to comprehend/think about what the other group is saying (Both sides are very quick to just call the other side evil.), etc. I could go on.
Wanting to pass laws to force all people to live the way they feel is best - a commonality of the right and left.
