Re: The Unofficial *Official* Politics Thread

    let`s talk tariffs
in my opinion (and that of many other far more knowledgeable about these matters) a bad thing
we only get <3% of our steel from China
16% from Canada...who has alot of oil..surcharge to the US?
how about bmw, mercedes and vw closing us factories?
    they buy german steel
move them offshore, export them to the us
no tariff on the steel used and no tariff on the cars

but I hope he does it
he did not ask me lol
    I have no responsibilty
why do I hope? because his sole decision will screw the economy
    and he will own it
not hoping for failure, I KNOW it will, the ??? is how bad

last time something similar was done circa 2004
    inflation ramped
    200k jobs lost
    car sales tanked

    I hope cooler heads prevail
but the aftermath should be entertaining

I`m going to hope and pray that the President and his Cabinet, etc., do what is the best for this country, and not hope he "screws" the economy, so he can "own" it..

I don`t think BMW will close their huge 2.2 billion dollar plant in Greer, South Carolina ever..
Its the 2nd largest manufacturing plant for BMW; the largest is still Dingolfing, Germany..
I believe this S.C. plant employs over 9,000 people..
I read in a Roundel not long ago that BMW is still expanding this plant..
They use a lot of earth friendly ways there to make it run including waste water reclamation, etc...

Quote from BMW Website --- "" Job Creation BMW"" (Spartanburg S.C.)
""Originally projected to provide 2,000 jobs, BMW Manufacturing now has 10,000 jobs on site. Add to that the companies required to supply and support the campus, and BMW provides jobs for over 30,000 South Carolinians. Lost in the numbers is the level of quality BMW is adding to the local labor pool.""

Would love to see BMW Spartanburg sometime, on my way over to visit The Super Wax Waster of All Time !!!!

That`s just it. Who determines who poses a danger? What`s the criteria for that? Or do we just nilly willy take guns away from anyone who has seen a therapist or anyone with PTSD? That may include LEO`s, first responders, nurses, doctors or anyone who is on anti-depressants. I am all for keeping guns out of those who are deemed mental but again what`s the criteria? We can not just take guns away without due process. That`s illegal.

Lastly, trannies should not play dress up while on active duty. If they want to play Bette Midler while at home on their off time then more power to them. Same for those questioning their gender. Anyone who questions their own gender or race should be first to not have a gun cause that`s mental right there.

    or sony
iirc the largest shareholders of bmw are also the largest steel makers in germany
    all comes down to money

been to the bmw facility a few times
    owned 4 M cars

he thinks it`s the best thing
    he`s wrong, but stubborn
    `big brain`, `smarter than the generals` `best memory in history` `healthiest president ever`

I hope he gets what he wants

    Anthony,

It`s impressive that you have such a strong opinion of transgender individuals without actually developing a basic understanding of what being transgender actually means. Being trans isn`t a matter of "questioning their gender" or "playing dress up" like your described. It`s a permanent identity that follows people through their entire lives...possibly similar to how compensation has followed you through you entire life and has become part of your permanent identity. just kidding.

I`m thinking you didn`t think about this a lot before posting. There`s no way someone who has gender identity issues would come first over say repeat violence convictions or animal cruelty issues. What about numerous expressions of wanting to kill or injure coupled with regular uncontrollable anger outbursts?

Talk about a false narrative! Fact:

High-capacity magazines have become commonplace in mass shootings. Sutherland Springs, Texas. Las Vegas. Orlando. Sandy Hook. Aurora. In fact, a study of mass shootings between 1982 and 2010 found that high-capacity magazines were used in half of them. And the devastation is much worse when they are used than when they are not: Another review of mass shootings, this one between 2009 and 2013, found that when assault weapons or high-capacity magazines were used, 135 percent more people were shot and 57 percent more were killed than when they were not.

I bet chris kyles wife wished he had not handed a weapon to a guy who had ptsd and whose doctor said he should be restricted from having weapons
if a doctor with a concurring second opinion says he presents a danger to himself and others that is good enough for me

    as for the `trannie` rant
    way too dark for me
    alot of subtext in there

were you ever in the Service?
