I`m sure he dems are quite disappointed.
I`m not disappointed at all (I don`t consider myself a dem, but I am pretty liberal) Just wanted to learn more and I feel like I did - wish I was a fly on the wall in the closed hearings.
Also - lol @ the lines of questioning almost every senator took(especially the republicans) most of them were incoherent or focusing on minutia that doesn`t matter. Had to especially laugh at Roy Blunt, who represents me unfortunately, and is quite the investigator; "Do you think that if you hadn`t been fired, you`d still have a job?" riveting analysis, Roy
Risch sucks too, spent all his time focusing on the "hope" part of what Trump said to Comey. That was like a public defender trying to weasel his client way out of something. "Um um um he TECHNICALLY didn`t give an order, right?!" lol
Our country and our voting public should be disappointed in pretty much every single person in that room and that we pay their salaries and pensions. They`re out of touch. King was the only one who I wasn`t embarrassed to listen to. Politics in this country are pathetic. Two parties, both sides endlessly jabbing and bickering at the other one just because of their affiliation. Completely disgusting. Everyone focuses on partisan politics and things that neither side are ever going to be convinced of. Should stop wasting time doing that and focus on attacking problems that concession is available on(which is always shrinking because of the party line nonsense)

There is a lot of cherry picking of comments. Once again, not looking for the full truth but interpretation of statements that fit a narrative.
Trump clearly disagrees with Comey on some comments (watch the Romania press conference). So, if you pose comments about Comet vindicating Trump then you have to accept that Comet was right and Trump was wrong on the contested points. We have seen this pattern of the search for the truth but ignoring it.

The Need to Bead
If this was another country I would say we were ripe for a coup.

Seth Meyers said this about The Don:
He’s “like a husband who denies cheating on his wife, but also wants credit for getting laid.” As Meyers puts it, “Who are you going to believe? The former head of the FBI or a former casino owner and reality-TV host who’s been bankrupt four times, married three times …”
I thought it hit the nail on the head. Trump was well known for suing people and not paying his contractors, also who could forget Trump University. Why should we believe anything that comes out of Trumps` mouth?

The 16th President had a tough life before seeking the nation`s highest office. Lincoln failed in business, love and politics before his career finally took off. In 1833, Lincoln and a business partner purchased a general store, which sold goods that the pair bought from other stores on credit. The plan didn`t work out. The store was failing, so Lincoln sold his shares in the company. However, when his former partner died, the store`s creditors came after Lincoln, who was forced to file bankruptcy.

In a statement, a senior White House official confirmed that the Red Phone was used on Oct. 31 to send a message to Moscow. "This action was part of our ongoing, rigorous efforts to press the Russian government to halt the actions of those responsible for these cyber attacks." The official declined to provide details of the message, however.
Obama claimed success for his message to Putin at a news conference last Friday.
"I felt that the most effective way to ensure that that didn`t happen was to talk to him directly and tell him to cut it out and there were going to be serious consequence if he didn`t," said Obama. "In fact, we didn`t see further tampering of the election process."

I remember saying that Russia will be Trump`s Benghazi. Benghazi just followed Hillary around and nothing came of it. Russia is doing the same for Trump. It will haunt his reelection bid if it is not cleared up by then.
