My wife uses Tricare which allows her to go to any doctor and get any medication (that is on a list) that she is prescribed. WOW! Can I get that? NO! Give me Tricare and make my wife go to the VA for care, lol. I just want to choose my own doctors, like most Americans. We get bottom of the barrel doctors that can`t get jobs anywhere else (for the most part). A credit card would allow Vets that don`t live in a town with a VA hospital to get care, too easy.

There are exceptions and I can see keeping some MAJOR hospitals open, but only a very few. Maybe 4-5. The VA is made up of civilians living off of the federal government. Duplication of effort is outrageous. Oh, the new VA director will be the first one that never served in the military, to me that is a step backwards. Give Veterans more control. If you don`t like your doctor you go find another. If I don`t like my doctor I get no care.

Fix the VA by dismantling the beast.
I dunno about VA hospitals, but as a health care professional that takes Tricare as payment - I can say the way we are treating our vets is a disgrace. Used to be good - but it went horrible under Obama. Hopefully this will get fixed soon.

Trump does not want to build a wall to keep people out...he wants to build it to create jobs. Have you guys seen the outrageous cost of building that thing? That type of project would really benefit a lot of people along the border by creating jobs which I think is his real purpose in building it. If he really wanted to keep people from coming into this country illegally there`s a very SIMPLE solution. All he has to do is impose a huge fine of $100,000 for each undocumented worker any company, farmer/rancher, contractor, or any employer has on their workforce. Those companies who are hiring undocumented workers will have to either pay up or go down when they get caught. Sooner or later, companies will understand it`s just not worth the risk of hiring undocumented workers AND the best part, it won`t cost us the TAXPAYERS any money at all.

Building a wall will create jobs, and that is a good thing (although we will probably hire illegal workers to keep costs down). I just would rather see new roads, new bridges, and other crumbling infrastructure replaced to create those jobs. I just think of all of the good things that can be done with the money that is going to be paid for a vanity project. US taxpayers are going to front the money for this boondoggle. The US making Mexico pay for a wall that they don`t want is ludicrous. Isn`t there an international court that decides such things anyway? A trade war benefits no one. Americans are used to paying low prices for imported goods. When prices start going up for everyday items it will not hurt Trump & Friends, it will hurt the very people that put him in office.

50% of all illegal immigrants come here legally on Visas and simply don`t return home when their visas expire. Trumps wall isn`t going to do jack to stop them.

Bingo! We need massive infrastructure investments waaaay more then a stupid wall. Case in point, the PA Turnpike between PA and NJ is closed indefinitely because of a massive fracture found in the Delaware River Bridge:

How the !*^# did that happen??? Why didn`t someone catch it before it failed???
