I was just thinking about that this morning.
I think that`s half the problem in the world, we are unable to grasp the scale of things. With 7+ billion people on the planet, there is an enormous scale. Here in the US we use 385 million gallons of gasoline A DAY. If you lined up all the tanker trucks to carry that, end to end, they would stretch for 345 miles. I don`t think anyone can really visualize how much gasoline that is.
