Oh boy...I wish I could confess my sins here. But - I`d be banned for life for sure... All I can say is - it`s been worth it.

Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!Post Thanks / Like - 1 Likes, 0 Thanks, 0 Dislikesnickclark08 liked this post
I have only finished the hood of this car to completion...and I still have three wheels left
i just got home, had to get away from this mess
but i swear this is the exact same paint I have! sure looks familiar
Let`s see if we can steer this back to cars...
I confess I use Mr. Clean multipurpose cleaner on interiors. It`s an awesome rinseless wash. Cheap as dirt, very concentrated and cuts grease very well. I also confess I use it on exteriors when I want squeaky clean paint.
512Detail- Heh heh, I liked that one Never occurred to me at all!
And yeah, I too utterly hate that particular paint...I had the GMC version of it, and NEVER AGAIN. I`d rather have straight black!
Dan- Hey, I`ll take that and steer it right back away from cars I use the Mr. Clean Multi *every night* for a quickie on the one tile floor. It seems way too alkaline for use on any of my leather stuff though, and I find that it *does* require some degree of rinsing lest it leave a residue.
So you don`t have to rinse it? Maybe I`m mixing it too strong...gotta admit I do it by eye.
BUT..when I want to get that same floor *truly* clean, I use 3D`s APC instead. Simply cleans better for me. But the Mr. Clean *is* good for the daily use, and yeah..nice and cheap when you get a "extra XXoz. Free!" bottle for under $4.
Never thought of using on a vehicle though (see, back to cars ) if only because I do better on the floor with my 3D. I gather the Mr. Clean works better for *you* than your APCs though, right?
I miss Jerry Garcia every day
I drink too much Merlot and love every minute of it.
Sometimes on a long drive I pee into an empty diet coke can.
I sometimes wonder if the 3 items above are related....
I liked Gyeon Cure so much I purchased about a 2 year supply. As soon as it arrived I purchased a 2 year supply of TAC Systems Quartz Max just to see if I might like it better...I wonder if this was related to the merlot thing.

Father.. forgive me I have sinned - Just clayed a Silver 2004 X5 with Tar-X and a Magic Eraser! - Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. worked so well
Ah, BUT...I`m using ONR on two leather seat cushions in the house! Yikes, huh?!? Eh, they`re already pretty, uhm...compromised...from the last cat, so no biggie if it turns out badly. But so far (maybe 20 cleanings) so good. Still not using it on the vehicles` leather though.
OK, I`ll bite...noting that I have a number of silver vehicles ...why did you do something that was inevitably gonna result in additional marring and thus require the removal of additional clear?Originally Posted by bodidly22
I`m too cheap to buy spray bottles for mixing up waterless wash ratios or APC.
Uber, ONR, and N914 are in retired/cleaned windex spray bottles, Power Clean is in an old auto-glass cleaner spray bottle, and Griot`s Rinseless is in an old Meguiars Quick Detailer spray bottle.
