    Music that gets you going

Does anyone every listen to a certain song and just start moving or working really fast. I was listening to my radio washing boats today, and "Sandstorm by Da Rude comes on. Its a trance song thats kinda the dafinitive of trance, I hear it everywhere, on movies, comercials and everywhere. But anyway, I just started to go like gang busters. I had the boat done in no time and was just flying. I downloaded it, im going to loop into my Ipod and really get stuff done. Im not really a trance, or even harder rock kinda guy, but its just that kind of song to get you going.

Anyone else have this happen to them?

I just usually keep Nickelback, Disturbed, and Alien Ant Farm in my stereo for detailing. I just try and keep music that won`t offend any of the neighbors while I`m working. I`d probably work a little faster with some heavier stuff, but I`d probably be talking to the police about the material being played also.

I`m not a big fan of headphones while working. I can`t hear anything else going on around me. I`ll probably switch up the mix sooner or later and keep it appropriate. My neighbors are actually all pretty cool and always stop by to see what I`m detailing so I don`t want to do anything to make them upset with me.

Barry Manilow, Michael Bolton, Lionel Richie, they all get me going.. JK LOL

I pretty much listen to anything while I work. FWIW its not a succesful detail unless I have heard at least one police song, one van morrison, an allman brothers, and a stevie ray vaughan. Im not a huge police fan but I gotta have at least one for it to be a good detail.

    LOL

Sandstorm is a good one. Some current ones are Dem Franchise Boyz "Ridin Rims", Juvenile "Back That A$$ Up", some thing I downloaded called "Techno - Dance Club Remixes - House Mix 2005", Three 6 Mafia "One Hitta Quita", Young Jezzy "Grey Goose", Youngbloodz "Brand New", and some other techno and rap ones. While they are good working songs, I think I`m going to have to ban them from my vehicles as they make me drive to the limit and I can`t afford any more traffic citations.

Some good rock, punk, metal etc. (Pennywise, Ill Nino, Thrice, Rise Against, Nonpoint, Soilwork etc).

Two songs that have a way of making me speed:
Otep - Battle Ready (mean friggen chick)
and believe it or not Nickelbacks - Animals, that song just keeps making me dig deeper into that V8 throttle

If I were your neighbor, I`d be offended. Highly.
