    Re: Occupations

I was reading the recent posts and something just popped into my head. Some will get it if they watched the program this comes from.

"I sell propane and propane accessories".

There has to be one here that will get that reference. I miss that show.

    Re: Occupations

The work to support my family - Telecom Management for almost 40 years, Military for 6 years..
The work to support my habit but could never support my family - Detailing, all my life..

House of Wax - we had similar work, I worked with all the CO`s at all the Telco`s across the nation - I had the Fiber side of Nortel OC-48-192 equipment on SONET rings, dual entrance facilities, huge Liebert Battery Strings, the biggest diesel generators I have ever seen, and tons more equipment and back up, for this little Wireless company called AirTouch Cellular in California, that eventually grew into the mammoth Verizon Wireless company.
Had to absolutely insure that the 15k+ employees at the 2 Campus`s I built were always ON, and nothing ever prevented our subscribers, and us from communicating 24 x 7, 365 days/year..
And yeah, we built it so well, it has never gone down and probably never will..
