Can`t imagine anybody other than Yahoo`s investors caring what they pay anybody.

I don`t get why people care what [employees] get paid...if I don`t like a Compensation Package I might not want to invest in that company, but otherwise I don`t see how it`s any of my business.

If I *did* want to fuss about such stuff (no real point as I couldn`t influence it if I wanted to...) I`d gladly rant about [professional athletes] getting paid huge amounts to play some game for the vicarious enjoyment (AKA, distraction) of others. But again, waste of my resources to care so I don`t.

EDIT: Bunky- The above sounds like a slam at you for your post when I reread it in a certain light...wasn`t intended that way as at the *VERY* worst it`s just one of those things we don`t see eye-to-eye about and I don`t mean to come across like a [jerk] about it.

No problem. Of course, the same applies to pro sports and celebrities too. We often pay for this in what we purchase every day whether we like it or not. There are a lot of expensive failures and they end up getting bought. We do need to make CEO`s great again...

Cows will face directly north or south while eating, always.

Let’s face it: nobody is sitting around trying to figure out the what direction most animals face while they are eating. For instance, our cat would sit on its head if it meant that it could get a few extra treats. Fortunately there are scientists out there much smarter than us. Utilizing satellite images pulled from Google Earth, a team of researchers found that cows always stood facing the magnetic poles within the Earth while eating or resting. Always.

Well... always is a stretch. I have a dairy not too far away, it`s feeding stalls face West. I know, it`s the spirit of the statement.

I figured as much. A cow`s got to eat. I`m sure they`d change direction given the option.

So O described his wife`s convention speach as "an incredible speach by an incredible woman". For once we`re in agreement, though I question whether he understands the meaning of "incredible". [INSERT some good quip about how Democrats/Liberals define words differently from other people]

[Heck], I find almost everything that most politicians say to be incredible statements by incredible people.

    Random thoughts thread

    Ah...The magic of carnauba...

Was detailed on a new medication yesterday. A new extended release version of oxycodone that is "abuse proof"... Xtampza.

How did they do this... "DETERx Microsphere Technology"... ???

They mixed the drug with carnauba and made a wax!

The drug rep opened up the capsule....Inside each capsule is something that could pass for BlackFire Midnight Sun...except it`s laced with oxycodone.
