SwanicYouth- Glad to hear you`re prioritizing the right things. Which method are they using on your hernia? (I had inguinals fixed both ways, one on each side, decades ago.)

I trust you know enough about your surgeon to have confidence....

And good on you for getting it fixed while it`s still small; too many people I know decided to wait (and wait, and..) and then they were all bummed out about how much more of a THING it ended up being, especially the recovery.

2nd year of the backpack detail auction...

same winning bid this year, same winning bidder as well, but going a little larger on my end here this year...

the impact of donating some product and time to a good cause...lots of backpacks for kids starting school this year, some provided directly as a result of this auction

the products I decided to use...

can you guess what color the lucky winning car is?

I might be more excited than the vehicle owner...guess I really am a madman afterall

Glock gives you the magazine load assist for the little girls to use. Seriously though, the last two rounds can be tough in a Glock.

Heh heh..."little girls"..."girlie hands"...virtually every gal I`ve shot/driven with was so much better than most guys it wasn`t even close. And they loaded their own (high-cap) mags no problem. Hey, you two *knew* I wouldn`t let that [stuff] pass without a snarky comment, right?!?

But seriously, get a Mag Loader if you`re gonna be serious about your training. When going through a gazillion rounds/day most *everybody* uses `em.

Tc99m- "Speed loader" makes me think "revolver"...is that just me?

I shoot mostly with my family and we have always called them speed loaders. We shoot anything and everything that comes to the family property. Mag Loader is probably more accurate. But, we utilize speed loaders, mag loaders and strip loaders. Tomato or is it a tomato.

Tc99m- OK, just wondered if you were rocking a wheel gun these days. I`m not all that picky about such stuff...I`ll say "grips" instead of "stocks" and so on.

Ronkh- If you`re running a high-cap in any kind of decent training, you`ll need that. We always did OK with our single-stacks, but *everybody* who ran a high-cap was using a loader after the first 1K rounds or so, and if/when I really switch to a Plastic Fantastic you can bet I`ll use a good mag-loader.

No need to put the S Cape on. There was no offense intended. A little girl`s hands was absolutely the picture I wanted to paint with my words. Seriously, have you watched an 8 year old girl or any kid pressing the last two rounds in a Glock HiCap Mag? Knowing Ron has sausage fingers, I thought it was funny. Have you seen him text?

I`ve known many women who were fine marksmen with pistols and rifles, my daughter being one of them. That said, they struggle just like men with strong hands pushing those last couple of rounds in a Glock Mag, even with Glock`s Mag Loader.

I also know a woman who before ankle problems could shift`em and drive with any man. If I beat her in a race it was because my car was faster.

As far as speed loaders go, I`ve got them for semi`s, revolvers, AK`s, AR`s and especially for 10/22`s. They`re all Speed Loaders.

Huh, never woulda thunk it! When I was dialed-in I could do speedloaders pretty fast, but the strips always took me forever. Good speedloaders weren`t exactly "magazine change"-fast by a long shot, but they didn`t take multiple manipulations like the strips always did. But then speedloaders were awfully bulky things to tote around too...
