Very good. You owe yourself a new reward sidearm.

In the past that hasn`t been required as a parent could set up the trust and name their minor children in the trust. I`ve been wrong before.

Thank you and WOW! Can`t really imagine printing children but the BATF hasn`t been known for its sensible provisions.

I carry a 9mm Shield on my hip every day. It`s one of my favorites to shoot at the range too. Very low recoil, accurate, dependable.

I`d recommend the 9 over the 40, as the capacity is higher and the recoil much better. Factor in the cheaper ammo, and in my opinion, it`s just not worth any minor benefits the larger caliber may supposedly have.

Hmm.....I like where your head is at. Need to get me a good CC piece. I`ve got my Sig and an Alien Gear OWB holster, but I need something smaller I can carry IWB

I made an appendix carry IWB holster from kydex for it. Took a bit to get used to it but I don`t even notice it any more.

I understand what you`re saying but the mp shield 9 is more than the .40. I just can`t justify that when I know I`ll be getting the LC9 from my grandmother.

My daily carry is a Sig 938. Love it and is plenty accurate for the range I would feel the need to use it. I have a .40 and much prefer to shoot my .45s. As far as High Points go I wouldn`t want to bet on a $120 gun in the event I actually needed it, just my .02

I really thought it would be too, but I`ve tried a crossbreed, and the other common ways, and appendix is the only way for me.
Now, I don`t have a gut either, so for some guys, it`s not really an option.

The shield is short enough that it doesn`t get in the way when I sit in a car or on a restaurant and it`s thin enough and light enough that it really isn`t an issue if you wear a decent belt.

It really comes down to what works best for you. Lord knows I have a box of holsters like everyone else

But you can get a decent kydex holster on ebay for $20. Gone are the days of paying $70 and waiting 3 months.
Hell, if you are halfway handy, you can make your own.

heh, I kinda skipped over that part and got all excited when you mentioned the Shield

You will be happy with either. I think we sometimes get caught up in a particular piece of gear, when the important thing is to have one that works for you when you need it.

    What`s your .45 of choice?

I`ve got an FNX 45 sitting beside me now- nothing like 15+1 230 grain bullets
Of course, it takes 2 men and a boy to fire it because it`s so heavy and bulky...
