How to Clean Gas Burners Grates

I read about this on the net and decided to give it a try...being the anal detailer I`m always looking for a way to clean something better.

Take the grates and put them into plastic baggies and use about 1/2 cup or little more ammonia, seal bag and let over night.

You do not need to submerge the grates in liquid it`s the fumes that break down the buildup.

Few things that I have done to these grates have worked so well, this works like a CHARM

Wish I had taken before pics because these where coated in grease build up to the point you really didn`t know they where gray.

Wow thanks for the tip. I`m going to try this on my grill grates.
