Can someone tell me how to get to the next page of forums post.
I know at the old site there was a page tab at the bottom of the page.
I do not see this on the first page.

I don`t believe that Dwayne, has gotten to that yet. But he is aware of it and is working on getting everything setup

I`m going to need some help with this one. What exactly do I need to work on? It`s been a long day and I need some help understanding exactly what we had before and what we do not have now so I can fix it.
Thanks
The latest forum topics on the main page only shows the latest 15 or so threads. There used to be a "more" link to show additional threads

Dwayne if you click on NEW POSTS it only has one page there is no way to get to any additional topics without going into the separate Forums themselves. And it is this way even from the front page. There is no way to get to the next batch of threads. And it appears to be that way no matter where you go.

Exactly! Man I was starting to feel stupid. LOL! Starting a thread is also
a little different. I had to click on a fourm topic at the right of a posted
forum to get to a " New Thread" button. I love the new look but am
having a learning curve to the new site navigation.
I just went to the new Autogeek site. It is the same way. It
shows 10 of the latest threads and you have to search a
specific topic or all post`s by a member to get to anything
older that the first page.
The "More" link was a vBPortal feature and not something that comes "stock" with the vBAdvanced Homepage. I can increase the number of threads shown on the homepage if 20 would be a prefered number.Originally Posted by jaybs95
The NEW POSTS page is functioning properly. It will give you more than one page once the forum gets busier and there are more NEW POSTS between your visits to the site.Originally Posted by 97F1504x4
Clicking on a forum topic is actually a good thing. It encourages members to select the appropriate forum to post in. Having more specific, "on topic" forums is better for search engine rankings and should result in more members.Originally Posted by belcherm58
Dwayne that would be helpful for sure. However even going into each seprate forum it still only gives like the 10 most active topics is it on a time thing as far as what is considered ACTIVE?? If you go into a Forum say Car Wash there is a option at the bottom of the page to access posts from the last mont 60 day 100 days etcc. Would that be possible to add on the NEW POSTS page as well as on the HOME PAge? Not trying to be a pest and i am most certain you have worked your A*# off over the last few days getting this swicth done and it is all very much appreciated that is for sure SO a big THANK YOU to you for all your hard work.Originally Posted by Dwayne

I don`t know if this will help or not.
But if you go to the "Quick Links" spot on the navigation bar, it`s right next to the "Search" button (and we alll know where that is  ).
The first thing on the drop down is "todays posts" that should give quite a bit more.

The individual forums show the 20 most recent threads and the time frame is set to the last 30 days.Originally Posted by 97F1504x4

Yeah, I have been working some overtime lately. I need some sleep. You`re welcome and thanks for being awesome members.
Aww yeah! That is what we need in this situation!Originally Posted by jaybs95
Yeah that works great. Thanks. I still like the idea of 20 most recent threads though.Originally Posted by jaybs95
Dwayne i am also curious if you plan to put the SPONSORS direct links back on the left hand side like they were previously. Although i already have them bookmarked in my FAVS of course it was very convenient to simply be able to click on them from the site.
