Ahhh Rogue, haven’t had that since 2 summers ago when I passed out on the back deck and continued to drink 6 more Rogue Ales.... Good times :hifive:
This is what I hope to be drinking soon:
5 gallons of a home brew hodge-podge, should be ready to bottle in a few days, it smells awesome, nice and hoppy.
Are you fermenting in a plastic bucket? Only time I used mine was for bottling. Personal preference, I guess, but I always fermented in a glass carboy with a blowoff tube into a container of water. Then I usually racked it to a second carboy (with an airlock on top) to pull it off the sediment & help clearing.
Kinda makes me wish I hadn`t tossed all my homebrew equipment last year but, alas, I never have the time any more.
Best batch I ever did was an IPA with an alcohol content somewhere in the 6`s. Although... now that I think of it, I made a sweet porter that was absolutely incredible.
Cheers-
Yeah I like the plastic, broke far to much glass while drinking and brewing I`m still new to the homebrew thing, but it`s a good time. Gotta run to the brew store today and get a few more fermenters, gotta brew a few more beer types. Did you extract brew or steep? Tossed all the equiptment? What a shame But I guess it is much much easier to buy beer, and with all the good stuff out there nowadays it`s good times for sure.

FalconGuy,
Thanks for sharing the pics. You two make a good looking couple. So only two brew`s?
I tried a terminal gravity IPA tonight, I LOVED it.
congrats to the newly married couple
I`ve had and really enjoyed the Deschutes Obsidian Stout, nice smooth and dark. Much like Guinness it`s great cool not cold. Drank a whole lot of Bass :brit tonight (last night? whatever time it is?!?), I forgot how good some of the bigger brews really are.
