    Well it is the longest day of the year. Summer Solstice. It is a big day up here in Alaska. Now we start losing daylight. I do not know what I am going to do with seven minutes less of 24 hours a day sunlight. I guess that I will make it thru. Somehow I always do. It is detailers delight up hear when it is not raining. You can get up and detail anytime of the day or errrr.... day to see the swirls in your ride with direct sunlight.

    Will be doing a quickie detail on a most unusual(for me anyways) vehicle. Will post pictures later this date, It has been painted in our shop and it is the boss`s little toy. Look forward to trying to get some nice pictures of this little gem.

    Good morning DC!!

    Will be off this weekend due to the fact that the company is in the middle of a work lull. Five of the eleven teamsters will be laid off in the next week.

    The company asked for voluntary days off to keep people working for as long as they could. I volunteered to take Friday and Saturday off to go fishing.

    Will be headed for Minto, Alaska at 9 o`clock Friday morning. Four hours later the boat will be in the water and will be looking for clear water tributaries running into the Yukon River. Hopefully I will be posting pictures of the 40 pound pike that everyone is always looking for. LOL!!

    Hope everyone here on DC will have as much fun this weekend as I know I will have.
