I wonder how all you detailers with good photogrpahy skills are able to show off the metal flake in your photo`s. With my old film camera with spot mertering and manual apeture/shutter settings I could do it. Using my Nikon P4 I cant. Guess it`s forget about metal flake or buy a DSLR with more manual control. Has anybody be able to capture the flake with a point n shoot digital? If so how?

    Thanks

Never tried it, but as I was a professional photographer in a former life, here are some ideas. Its all about the camera and light angle. Don`t use the on camera flash.

There are some Canon and I suspect Nikon`s, etc that are point and shoot get have manual controls.
