I`m not sure if this is the right spot for this posted thread, but what the heck.....it`s Turkey Day!!

I just wanted to take the time to thank some of my fellow Autopians for all the info, processes & advice I`ve obtained since I`ve become an "Autopian". Many thanks to the following peeps: Scottwax,ZaneO,Accumulator,Intercooled,White95Max, BlkZ28Conv,Anthony Orosco,Richt & GSRstilez. (just to name a few) I really have learned something new here everyday!! You guy`s make this site a pleasure to be a part of! Happy Holidays to you and your families! :woohoo: :xyxthumbs :getdown :spot :2thumbs: :hifive: :usa

20+ years of doing it by hand?! How did you do it!

I had an especially happy thanksgiving. Ended up making $288 in 8 1/2 hours of work at the restaurant. That rotary is calling my name...

Pure passion,really..........At this point, I`m tired of accepting less than "Autopian" results, which is why I just ordered the SFX Polisher Kit a few hours ago. I`ve spent years polishing by hand, then glazing over whatever flaws I couldn`t remove.( on my vehicle & friends/families/customers vehicles) I`ve finally met my match with my 2005 Toyota Tacoma. The black sand pearl paint is really a b*tch to keep up with. ( it`s a daily driver) Detailing really relaxes me. Melts away the stress. It truely is my passion. Life is short......follow your bliss!

I`ve learned so much over the past two years here! And I don`t know squat compared to some of these guys. I`m very thankful for the shared knowledge! :dance :xyxthumbs

Absolutely. I always look forward to posts from them. Seeing the fantastic cars they work on, their attention to detail, their different techinques and products used has taken my detailing to a whole new level.

BlkTac05, I`m with you. I`ve come a long way in what I know thanks to all the people here, but I still need lots of guidance. It`s funny how I once thought the only polishes/waxes out there were Meguiars, Turtle Wax, and Mothers. Boy was I wrong. I didn`t really know all that much about microfiber either until I came to this site.

In the past 4 years here, I have gained an incredible amount of knowledge. I thought I knew a lot, having had my own detailing business for 7 years at that time but I was wrong! Thanks to Autopia, I learned about a plethora of new products and techniques and the joys of the PC.

    Thanks to everyone who contributes.
