I have one of those 5.4 ltrs...its gonna get washed and clayed, polished and sealed. Literally...in the garage till prices come down from our highs of today and tomorrow.
i think its going to take a more then a couple days for it to go back down. i have a feeling it will last months before it might start going back down again slowly.
The trickle down effect is yet to come.....How low do you think the prices will drop....They tested the waters and we bit....cause we have no choice....
Hard goods and food goods will start to reflect high transport and manufacturing increases...Then you will have high heating expenses in the northern part of the country which also has a higher ratio of manufactoring plants..which will increase costs..or will cause layoffs to offset expenses...
This all in all is going to change most peoples lifestyles...mostly people with families....
It`s sad to say but this is just the tip of the iceburg....between filling up the car..filling the oil tank...electricity will go up....the average Joe`s wallet will only go so far.....
The new up coming crime to be will be Siphoning of Gas..just like in the 70`s when the gas shortage was around..every one had a locking gas cap or the springy thing that went in the filler tube to prevent a hose to get in.."we don`t need that one any more"
This is one time I hope I am wrong..but we will see....
