And, in fact, it looks like the same building! heh

This past weekend I was up in the woods in PA. Though I`d share some of the ones that I liked. I had a hard time working with lighting and my composition, and the cold weather didn`t help. Oh well what are you gonna do? It`s still just a hobby....

I have a Canon Digital Rebel XT. Hopefully newer models will come out before May to drive the prices down on current bodies, I know thats what happened when I get my Rebel XT. I`ve heard favorable things about the Nikon D80; I think if your going the dSLR route either Canon or Nikon are your best bet for such a wide variety of lenses and accessories. Once you do get a dSLR remember not to cheap out on good glass, theres a huge difference in image quality with cheap glass and expensive glass.
Yea i have been reading lot about them. Have 3 books and have been reading the photography forums. I plan on getting the 18-200 mm F/3.5-5.6G ED-IF AF DX VR Lens (about $749)when and if I should go with the D80. I heard that this lens is very versatile and has great qualities. I might consider the new XTi...just waiting for some more reviews. There are a few good ones out there. Definetly not cheap! lol

01bluecls:
I have to say my luck so far with the D80 ha been amazing. I`m only running the 18-55 Kit lens right now. Wish I had a lot more zoom, but a good learning lens for sure. As far as the 18-200 VR lens, it is suppose to be the best all around lens out. However, I saw a deal on eBay that comes with 2 tripods, 3 lenses, 4GB card, and a D80 for $1350. The lenses that are in the kit would make me want there kit more than the D80 with the 18-200. PM if you want some more iformation or have any questions about the D80. Here are some recent shots... One thing to remember with any DSLR, there is a lot of weight put into post processing of the picture. Programs like photoshop make or break the picture in the end. But with the D80 they are as good as can be expected.
Beautiful photo`s Johnny and 04cobra!!

Im still learning the post processing part of it all. These are taken with the Canon XTI with the kit lens.
