I`m going to bring this thread back from the dead with a picture I took last night.

Simply - WoW.
These are all great - loads of talent. :2thumbs:
Nothing like what you guys can do but I`ll throw in a couple done with my point and shoot Canon digital. I don`t get out of auto mode too much.

Here are some bead shots I took last night after a light rain we had, not enough to rinse itself clean so I snapped a few pics. (M21)

Highly recommended even for newbies. I love it so far.
Very cool pix!! I am also trying to get my first DSLR soon, and I am torn between the new D80 and Rebel XTi. I am reading as much as I can about each, but I`m waiting for more info to come through on the XTi first. I have a Canon A95 that I`m pretty happy with, which bias` me slightly to Canon, but I will give each a thorough evaluation and study before I make my choice.
Those D80 pics do look fantastic!

Nice shots, again, everyone :2thumbs:
Kyle: Glad to hear you like your Nikon D80, your photos look good thus far. The only thing I would strongly recommend is for you to shoot in RAW so you can easily change your exposure and white balance. In some of your night pics your white balance is way off, but is easily correctable.
