    That`s a terrific shot! We had snow/sleet/ice for most of the night, so the scene here isn`t quite so pretty. Once finals week is over, I can finally start studying more photography, and finally get around to detailing my car!

    Here are some pics of my brother`s boat . went out for his wedding. if you look close in the last pic of the cowling you can see a reflection of MT Ranier above the m and e in Mercury. still have not uploaded the pics from the trip but will get a few up , when I do

    Patrick, that`s purple loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria) in your pic, an exotic invasive species of wetland areas. It`s a pretty plant, but the best thing to do with it is pull it out of the ground before it completely takes over the wetland. I`ve worked with that plant in the past, and it`s a b*tch to get rid of once it becomes really abundant in the area.

    Patrick you got a 100-400mm IS L? I tried PMing you but your box is full.

    Your one lucky dude man, I really wanted one but couldn`t afford it.

    How you liking it is thus far? It`s amazing at how much of a difference between "L" lenses compared to all the other ones, eh?
