I think this has to be the most expensive wax I have ever seen Msrp 19.95. Someone else 119.70. I hope this is a mistake.

You need to do some more reading.
The number you are quoting is their "Wax Factor" based on the cost/durability over a five year period of time.
A somewhat different and somewhat confusing way to present their opinions/ratings of the waxes shown.
Remember, the only rating/opinion that really should mean anything to you is your own. If you like it, that`s all that`s necessary.

That ain`t nothin. Check this one out. I have a chunk of this crap. Its not nearly worth it even if you do get lifetime refils. There is only one thing I am commited to for life and it ain`t no wax.
Thanks Charles, I guess the price grabbed my attention. I should have investigated further.
Well, if you don`t want to use it wax your car, or if its not that good, it looks by the ingredients that it would be a great appetizer! :rollingOriginally Posted by Jngrbrdman

There is no wax that I am aware of that should cost that much. You can get great wax from Steve at PB for less than a third of that and the results I`d bet will be the same if not better.

Maybe it would be a somewhat almost kind of decent deal if you were filthy rich and had a very large detailing business that ran out of one single wax container. That`s more than I paid for my car! My car`s a piece, but come on.

`95 Ford Taurus- White, freshly detailed, holds lots, smokes coolant like a chimney.
`89 Honda CRX Si- Primer black, fast.
I analyzed the cost/benefit factor of Vintage to P21S. You would have to use a jar of Vintage per year for 40 years to equal the value of using P21S for the same amount of time. I can`t see myself commiting to a product for that long. Paint will be so much different in 40 years from now than it is now. Think about car care technology 40 years ago. Would you really want to be using the same products and techniques? I just don`t see the value of marrying yourself to a wax like that. I am much happier being able to change at will without feeling like I just ate a huge investment.
Do you think anyone ever really orders a jar of wax that is that expensive? I can`t even justify spending $60.00 on a tub. What is it like to have income that you can just toss away like that?
The guy I got my Vintage from has a couple Ferraris and other exotic cars. I guess when you have that much money lying around you don`t really notice it. Souveran is the most expensive wax I`ll ever justify spending that kind of money on. I won`t pay for Zymol and I don`t think anyone else will be able to make a wax that competes with Souveran at that price point.
Haha Don, funny you say that and here I went and bought the Estate Wax Sampler kit for $175. I figured I nailed a $1,000 detailing deal that week, so I went ahead and got it....I still haven`t used them yetOriginally Posted by OI812
