No matter what glass cleaner or cloth you like, next time you`re doing a set of windows try wearing grip type gloves. The ones I use are the cloth dipped in rubber. (There are also some painters gloves covered in nitrile that work well, as long as they`re some combination of cloth and coating they should work.) Because they have the cloth lining, if it`s hot and I`m sweating, there`s no sweat dripping out of the glove and the window cloth sticks to the glove and stays in place as I move around the windows. I get a lot more pressure on the glass, can get into the tight areas better and it takes a lot less effort to get the windows clean.

If you use a two cloth method, get your wet cloth ready before you put the gloves on.

I just agitate the cleaner with a sponge, squeege with a California Water Blade, then finish off with choice of whichever MF or cloth works best. Fast, efficient, effective.

Great tip Robert! Hopefully it will help people think twice about their distain for cleaning windows. Now I gotta start looking for some of these gloves to give it a try.

Patience is also a must when cleaning glass. I used to hate cleaning windows. I`ve read countless articles and tried many cleaners over the years. I found a cleaner and a technique that works great. For info on the cleaner you can pm me
