I have some on a section of my Acura trunk from a ceramic spray sealant test. It’s still alive now after 4.5 months. Hanging in there with IGL Premier and Drexler.

So I would say it’s great bang for the buck.

Guess I’m going to have to pick some up. Will save me money from messing with more expensive spray sealants, especially since I’ll apply it fairly often.

What is your Acura? I have a burgundy 2012 Acura TL.

2004 TSX. 178k miles. Looks decent though.

It just ran out of its last inspection (it won’t pass again until ‘someone else’ gets a stretched timing change replaced for >$1000 auto shop retail price). I’ll still drive it to the gym late at night to avoid hitting SW PA deer (they meander around everywhere in my neighborhood) with one of my better cars.

I applied this to the roof of my Tundra....I think about 4 months ago......still going, although it is starting to show some breakdown. This truck is parked outside 24/7, fwiw. I think it stacks up well against the field of spray sealants out there.....especially when you consider that it`s locally available, very reasonably priced, and easy to use.

Since this is sprayed on, the inevitable over spray would get some on glass. Is this OK on glass or do I need to polish it off windshield to avoid wiper chattering later on? Alternatively, does it last on windshield? Coz if it does, might as well coat the glass with this and not have to worry about glass coatings

Griots does not state if it can or can’t be used in glass. DI site says you can.

I’d give it a whirl and if it doesn’t work or if you want to remove from glass. Griot’s says to clay glass and clean with glass cleaner. Also can use their paint prep or surface prep soap.

I used this on every surface of my truck, including glass and plastic trim a couple of days ago. I’m thoroughly impressed with it.

Product Overspray is one of my pet peeves BUT...in this case I think you`ll find that with a bit of practice and, well...thinkin`...you`ll find a way around that. (If you, like me, don`t want to get such stuff on your glass. Apparently some folks would just do the windows too but that never works out for me.) I use spray-wax on one of our cars, and when I put in the effort I can keep it off the glass OK (fair bit of effort though, so it`s usually easier to just clean it off the glass later, leaving that for the very last part of the work.

Eh, if you`re working outside in windy conditions, it might take a good bit of thinking! But between spraying it far enough away from the glass to avoid the problem (and then spreading it) and/or using some kind of mask/barrier to keep the Product off, I bet you`ll find some way around it.

Also to avoid over spray spray product onto pad or into towel facing away from vehicle. Do this instead of directly spraying on vehicle.

I`m wondering if it will play nice with F1000k. I`ll have to pick some up someday.

Might be better to spray it on a towel and apply it.

Oh man would I like to know that

IF, and that`s a big "if", I ever use up all my leave-stuff-behind QDs I`m thinking about getting this stuff for at least the undercarriages. If it`ll work over the FK that`d be even better.

Hmmn, am I reading it wrong - using Griot`s on the undercarriage?

Sure! A little LSP, or even just a leaves-stuff-behind QD not only leaves things nicer, but also makes the next cleanup go better. Heh heh...when I clean a car, any car, I clean the *whole* car

Yeah, even the nastiest beater, every time I wash. Nobody gets his hands dirty working on my vehicles, nobody has to clean away [stuff] to inspect things either. My techs love me and I can spot any [service needs] right away.
