Those are single sided..much thinner than the PFM.

I`ve only used mine once. It was very absorbent. Dried the car easily. I`m a bit concerned about using it on black paint, however. Seems too rugged.

People say it`s fine despite that "rough hand", but I appreciate your concern.

Eh, some of my WWMFs were a little rough feeling, yet were marring-free, so maybe I shouldn`t be so paranoid about it, but my current Plush MF Drying Towels are just *SO* soft...I wouldn`t hesitate to dry anything with them so I guess I`m gonna be a hard sale when it comes to trying something else.

    Re: PMF Drying Towel.

I just went on Amazon/Whoever had best price with the intention of getting the PMF, but since I`ve got 3 Porsche`s, same house, same day, THIS TUES I need it by Monday, PMF, no prime, so decided to TEST OUT the I HATE DETAILING 0001 Drying towel. $ 14.99. I`ll wash it Monday ( I always wash before using almost ALL my towels ) and use it on a job Tues.

PFM towels have handled all the black cars we do, plus my black car and pickup truck without any issues whatsoever.

Not doubting you guys at all. May well go with the PFMs the next time I replace my Drying Towels...which probably won`t be for years so we`ll see what The Hotness is by then.

In several uses of this towel now. And I`ll say it here, it is amazing and worth it. Dries the whole Xterra without a issue. Again, the best drying towel I have used to date.

I like the PFM`s and will try some of TRC`s towel. For those concerned about "roughness".... have you ever spritzed a panel with a detail spray before wiping it dry. Finish Kare is my favorite detail spray and will literally make any towel skip across the surface.

    Re: PMF Drying Towel.

John U- Yeah, the right Drying Aid can make a nice contribution all right. I come across as all paranoid about the softness of the PFMs, but hey...some of my perfectly OK WWMFs don`t feel all that soft either.

Hey#2, I was a *huge* fan of both FK425 and FK146 for ages, but since I`ve started using (QD-strength) IUDJ for my Drying Aid I`m so happy with it that I have to force myself to use the FK stuff just to get it used up before it goes bad. Just something to consider if you`re ever open to trying something different, I genuinely think it does everything better..never woulda thunk it.

The TRC "Twistress" towels arrived. Washed and line dried first and then used today detailing my Godmother`s Benz. They are not as thick as the PFM`s & their "loop" is smaller then the PFM. Not in the same league the way i see it. I`ll use the thinner Twistress in door jambs and mag wheels and the larger PFM`s for exterior wipe downs. Both will excel in those areas.

My Griot`s cordless polisher traveled to MI to apply Zaino AOI with the top coat of Clear Seal.... because I like to see black pop!

I think TRC`s twistress work great. Never tried PFM, however. Does one towel feel more rough than the other?

    Re: PFM Drying Towel.

I`m no expert my any means and I have dozens of MF cloths - but I can`t imagine a better MF towel then the PFM`s. Now the others are relegated for other tasks like interior cleaning and glas.
