They will offer more cut and no worries of sling, though they won`t finish quite as well as the foam.
I tried it again last night. Priming the pad, then working the product in at a slow speed, then turning it up to speed 4-5. I had it sling once or twice but got it figured out and really enjoyed working with those pads. Compared to first night which was lots of frustration with product flying everywhere.

Glad to hear you are having better luck. It really is trial and error on the learning curve once you dial it in thought it`s a dream

Coming from a PC with 5 1/2" pads to G21 is night and day. At the same time I switch the PC to 3 1/2" pads and that machine is now way better to work with as well.

As w/ the rupes polishes too.

Sounds like the product-intensive KBM might`ve been pretty much limited to the M105/M205 twins.
Re: Product Sling on Boss Fast Correcting White Pad
Any difference in product sling w/ moving the pad around w/ machine off 1st?

IMO it`s the firm pad type, not the product that results in sling

I decided to switch to Boss Microfiber. I haven`t looked back yet.

That makes sense. I`ve never had a problem with sling for some reason, not even with a rotary unless I did something (that I considered) really dumb (which I sure didn`t do again).

The G m/f pads work awesome.....I need to order more now.
Re: Product Sling on Boss Fast Correcting White Pad
felixthecat- Ah, glad they`re working out for you. I`ll keep `em in mind if/when I wear out my Meguiar`s ones.
Re: Product Sling on Boss Fast Correcting White Pad
First time I used that pad there was quite a cleanup involved; probably still some FCC on my garage walls somewhere.
The thin, black GG FAST microfiber can do some real heavy lifting pretty quickly.

I`m getting confused...which pads are slinging for people and which ones aren`t?

For me, the thin, white foam Boss Fast Correcting pad was quite the adventure using FCC. I`ve slung some product in my limited time doing this but that was truly something, uh, special.

Guess I`ll avoid that combo...I`m simply not gonna struggle to master anything Detailing-related any more. Too many effective, Accumulator-proof, ways to get stuff done for me to [mess] around with Learning Curves.
