    Dr. Colorchip Polisher Deal!

I received an email today from Dr Colorchip about a 15% off deal on their products. I normally delete these and go on deleting the other stuff that hits my box. I happed to open it up and they have a deal on a regularly $299 polisher package for $99. The polisher looks like a normal Rupes Chinese knockoff (nothing wrong with that), it also includes 2 pads, 1 compound, and 1 polish.

Here is a pic of the polisher.

Sounds like a heck of a deal for someone that wants a backup polisher or is getting into the hobby/profession. It’s available at the Dr Colorchip website. No links as per rules.

Had no idea they made anything beyond Chip Repair. $99 though...maybe nobody else knows they have polishers either and this is a beginning to the end for the polisher.

$99 is almost tempting just to find out.

It’s very tempting. The around $30 worth of accessories with the polisher make it almost a gift. I don’t need another polisher, even for a backup. I too get the feeling this is a closeout and they are just trying to break even.

Can`t go wrong for $99.00 with accessories. When it breaks, throw it out.

If someone buys one let us know how good it is. Curiosity is killing me.

Not sure how to scale the picture is, but if it is to scale, the motor on this must be 1-Sp (squirrel power) or something..
Looks very tiny in that spot on the handle.. Sure, it will work...For how long???...

Here an example -- Meguiars own version of a PC.. Believe it was the MT100 or 200..
Bought one around 16 years ago when I gave my Porter Cable to my son-in-law..
It only did light glass polishing and lasted 10 years..

Bought a 2nd MT100, etc.. , after Meguiars refused to help me on the first one..
The 2nd one maybe ran 2 times, again on glass polishing, hardly even got hot..
Couple years later, take it out of cabinet and it is DOA... Nada..
Meguiars - "we can`t help you with your 2nd lemon"...
