They were mixing the cleaner at 4:1 in water and put it in a garden type pump sprayer. They used this to spray the engine. They sprayed it for about 2 minutes. They then switched to a regular pressure washer and rinsed the engine off with water. The grease and oil just slid right off the engine like nothing I had ever seen before. I looked under the car to see where all the oil and grease would have stained the ground. There were no stains. I asked the guy working if the garage floor was no. He kind of looked at me wierd, and said "No. Why?" I said it looked new and asked how they kept it so clean with all the oil they are pulling off these engines. He pointed to the cube of cleaning solution they used. He said they use it for everything.

So this stuff is called Genesis 950. It is an All Purpose Cleaner/Degreaser that they order in 5 gallon cubes. He said that the stuff is designed to actually get into grease and oil and break down the adhesive bonds. Because of this, it slides right off of whatever it is on. He said they use it on engines and bike chains, as well as rims and grills. They also use it to clean their floors. And he said the interior detailers use it for upholstery. He said it pulls stains out of material like nothing.

I asked him if they sold it. He said they didn`t, but he gave me the number and website of where they order it from. Long story short, I ended up ordering it and it works like nothing I have ever used. I used to clean my garage floor. It now looks new. I cleaned an entire stainless steel grill with it. My wife uses it in the house on her appliances and to clean carpet.

For anyone who is concerned about cleanliness, this is the best and easiest way to clean just about everything. I don`t know if I am allowed to put their website on here. I don`t want to be kicked out You can find the stuff by typing Genesis 950 in Google. It`s def. worth it.

Wow. I thought it would be cool to share this stuff with other guys who are into cleaning their cars. I had never heard of this stuff until I saw it being used and was amazed at what it did. I never thought I would be attacked for talking about it. My impression was that forums to were to discuss things to help each other. I know what a pain it is to clean floors and engines. Was just trying to make it easier. Sorry if any of you thought I was spam.

It does look somewhat shady when a new members first post is promoting a product.....

Let me google that for you

Genesis appears to be a product of Amerikal.....

"Amerikal", "Genesis", and "Cooper" seem to get around...

Posts:4I would agree that nasty solvents really mess up your rollers. With all of the regulations being passed these days it is hard to find a good wash. I switched over to Amerikal`s LemonAire wash. The stuff is amazing. On smaller presses it can be used by itself. On larger presses it can be used as a second step. (I use Amerikal`s Brigl wash for the first step). The product is low VOC, environmental, and extremely effective. It actually pulls excess ink out of the rollers. When I first tried it I had no anticipation of any real change, however it made the rollers look and sound new. We actually wiped the rollers down with a cloth afterwards and pulled up no residue. If you are having wash problems, I suggest you call Amerikal in Illinois and get on board. They also have an entire selection of low VOC and high quality chemistry.

Posts:4Actually the wash we use we just squirt onto the rollers and it takes everything off. With everything going into effect as far as regulations, I have found a blanket wash that works great. It is suprising because it is low VOC and complies with California regulations. The product comes from Illinois and is made by Amerikal. It is called LemonAire. I have never been a fan of low VOC chemistry as I found most of it to be less effective. However not only did the LemonAire clean my blankets, it did so well enough that when we wiped the blankets down there was no residue on the cloth. It was almost like we had new rollers. My advice would be to get in touch with Amerikal and order this product. Especially if you are in California. If you are having problems finding good product in regulation with state guidelines, they have a full series of chemistry. They generally work with established companies so if you call and they ask where you are calling from tell them I suggested you. I know they like to make sure their product is used right and they will provide MSDS`s with the product.

In the immortal words of Samuel L Jackson...

`The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother`s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon those with great vengeance and with furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know that my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.`
