Not sure if this is really a great deal or not, but it seemed nice to me.

Looks like it uses standard backing plates too, so it might be a cheap backing plate for your DA.

Looks like a good deal..the adapter alone is a few bucks. Try it and let us know what you think.

    Maybe too cheap

At the risk of sounding like a pessimist, I dunno if I`d want to trust that backing plate. Besides being too inexpensive to be confidence-inspiring (well, for me at least), it`s presumably designed to be minimally durable for a *rotary* application (i.e., the drill), remember that RO/DA machines impart a *LOT* more stress on the backing plate. People break good 6" backing plates all the time, sometimes with disastrous results. So I bet it`d be OK right up until there`s a catastrophic failure.

Might be OK for waxing though...

Again, sorry to be a wet blanket. But I wouldn`t want anybody to mess up their vehicle over trying to save a few bucks.

I`d think it`d be good for headlight restoration with a drill.

That`s a good point about the DA. It`s going to have to deal with forces that a rotary tool wouldn`t impart on them at all.
